In which case will the ball be seen by the observer.
An aeroplane is flying horizontally with a constant velocity of 600 km/hr at an elevation of 6 km above a target(on the earth's surface). At an appropriate time, the pilot releases a ball so that it strikes the target on earth. The ball will appear to be falling
Observation 1: Try to stop a ball coming towards you,so as to save a boundary, by applying a force of some magnitude in the opposite direction of the motion of ball.
Observation 2: In the same case, you apply the force of same magnitude but in same direction of the motion of the ball. Observation 3: In the same case, you apply the force in the opposite direction of the motion of the ball but its magnitude is less. In which case/cases you will stop the boundary. Why is that?
