Impulse transmissions are faster in myelinated neurons.
due to following reasons
1.Due to saltatory conduction in myelinated nerve fibre, the impulse moves faster
2. Myelin sheath behaves as insulator ahence the nerve signal travels fast.
3. In myelinated fibres the nerve impulse jumps from one node of Ranvier to other. Thus, it is faster. However the impulse has to travel all along the non-myelinated fibre. So, it flows slowly.
