In which of the following plants, is there no transpiration?
The loss of water from aerial parts of living plants is known as transpiration. Transpiration may be stomatal (80-90%), cuticular (3-9%) and lenticular (0.1%). Transpiration is absent in submerged hydrophytic plants because the stomata are completely absent in the leaves of the submerged plants, e.g Anacharis and Potamogeton.
