Solution

The correct option is C c
The cell membrane of the axon of the nerve cells is made up of axolemma. there are Schwann cells on the axon. This sheath of Schwann cells is called as neurilemma. These cells secrete myelin. The neurons with myelin sheath are called myelinated neurons. There are certain regions, where the myelin is absent and is called as nodes of Ranvier. The impulse is conducted in myelinated neurons at a faster speed. The impulses move from one node to another node. This form of conduction is called as saltatory conduction which is very fast and rapid.
So, the correct answer is option C.
