Solution
The correct option is B 8th - 10th week
CVS (Chorionic villi sampling) is a technique for detecting foetal disorders during early pregnancy. In this technique, a doctor inserts a narrow, flexible tube through the mother's vagina and cervix into the uterus and withdraws chorionic villi from the placenta. The cells of chorionic villi are then examined for various disorders.
Faster result is an advantage over amniocentesis. Another advantage is that CVS is done early, between 8th to 10th week of pregnancy when abortion is safe for woman.
