• The layer we live in, for example, provides us with enough oxygen to breathe.
• The troposphere is composed mostly of Nitrogen$\left({\mathrm{N}}_2\right)$ and Oxygen$\left({\mathrm{O}}_2\right)$, with a small number and amount of other gases.

Therefore humans live in the lowest layer of the atmosphere called the troposphere.
