In Word you can force a page break by positioning your cursor at the appropriate place and pressing Ctrl + Enter.
To insert a manual page break, click into the document at the place you want the page break to occur, before an automatic break. Press the “Ctrl” + “Enter” keys on your keyboard. Alternatively, click the “Layout” tab in the Ribbon and click the “Breaks” drop-down button.
A page break that you explicitly insert. The application cannot override a forced page break. Forced page breaks are sometimes called hard page breaks.
