a. India is democracy , where people are the ultimate source of power and authority.
b. Our constitution declares India to be Democratic country where people enjoy equal set of political rights and participate in the governance of the country.
c.Democracy is a form of government based on the consent of the people. It allows for the participation of the people in the political process.
d. Here people give approval to the government by means of elections, , by electing representatives would who would make policies on their behalf.
e. India is also a Republic where the head of the state will be an elected one and not have a hereditary monarchial system.
