India is developing country hence __________ level is high.
Industrial pollution is one of the most visible environmental issues actually confronted in developed nations, and today it is faced by most of the newly industrialised economies. Particularly after the economic reforms, India's industrial structure has undergone numerous changes. In India, however, no significant environmental reforms have been implemented to take into account the environmental effects of evolving industrial trends. There is, therefore, a need to examine the environmental consequences of India's industrial sector. Since different industries have different levels of pollution, the composition of the industrial structure was first examined in this paper.
We have calculated the changes in the pollution load of Indian factories using the World Bank 's Industrial Pollution Projection model for calculating the pollution load in developing countries where continuous industrial pollution data is not available. Finally , we conclude by recommending the requisite policy changes to promote more productive use of resources and substitute scarce resources with the implementation of innovations and practises that mitigate the effect on the environment.
