India is emerging superpower and a developing country. India has always maintained peaceful relations with other nations. India strengthened its relationship with the rest of the world after the cold war. The look east Policy was initiated to maintain balance with southeast Asian countries. India had since beginning maintained smooth relations with Russia(superpower), earlier Soviet Union and it maintained the other end with the U.S.A. amicably. The trade relations are even maintained well with North Korea(dictator). It plays an influential role in international organizations and actively takes part in Conventions and summits globally. It has participated in UN Peacekeeping Mission in 2007 and was the Second largest contributor of Army.
