(ii) False, synthetic fibres melt on heating because when synthetic fibres burn the bonds between chains breaks first while bonds between monomers remains intact leading to melting of fibres.
(iii) True , because synthetic fibres catches fire very quickly and melts quickly thus causing severe burns to the person wearing it.
(iv) False, most of the plastics are non-biodegradable.
