Out of them Cd metal cause anaemia, hypertension, damage to liver and kidney, diarrhoea and painful skeletal deformities disease called itai-itai, it causes severe joint pain due to osteomalacia and breathlessness due to anaemia , while chromium cause the gastrointestinal ulcer, nephritis and disorder of nervous system . Minimata disease is caused due to mercury .
