1. Industrialisation leads to release of mercury during manufacturing, mining etc. directly into lakes and other water bodies and hence leads to water pollution.
2. The factories release carbon dioxide into the air, causing the concentration of CO₂ to increase in atmosphere and hence leads to air pollution.
3. The fossils fuels released from these industries restricts the heat to escape into the space, thus increasing the temperature of the earth. It is known as global warming which is a major concern all around the world.
4. Due to the above mentioned effects the human lifestyle and many ecosystems are disturbed by industrialisation.
