Infuenza virus is the causative agent of the commonly known flu disease. The structure of the influenza virus is enveloped capsid and exists mainly in the human body fluids, like the mucus and saliva, travelling easily from one person to another. The influenza virus has hemagglutinins, that helps to agglutinate red blood cells. This process is known as hemagglutination and it helps us to test for virus in viral serology.
