The correct option is C $- 2 m$
Initially the origin $(O)$ was at $X = 0$ , and position of particle with respect to origin was:
$X_{P} = - 3 - 0 = - 3 m$
when origin is shifted to left by $1$ unit, then new origin $(O^{'})$ will be at $X = - 1 m$
$\Rightarrow$ Position of particle w.r.t new origin will be
$X_{P}^{'} = - 3 - (- 1) = - 2 m$
