Inner Planets :(i) The four planets in the inner solar system also called terrestrial planets. Mercury,Venus, Earth and Mars have rocky crusts and dense mantles and cores.
(ii) These planets are closer to the Sun.
(iii)They do not have a ring system around them.
(iv) They have very few moons.
(v) The four planets in the inner solar system are relatively close together
Outer Planets :(i) The four planets in the outer solar system are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.These gas giants are made mainly of hydrogen, helium and other gases.
(ii)These planets are far away from the Sun.
(iii) They have a ring system around them.
(iv) They have a large number of moons
(v) The four planets in the outer solar system are spread out that is huge distances separate them.
