$\frac{- 2 - 1}{2} = \frac{- 3}{2}$

Rational number between $- 2$ and $\frac{- 3}{2}$ is

$\frac{- 2 + (\frac{- 3}{2})}{2} = \frac{- 4 - 3}{4} = \frac{- 7}{4}$

Rational number between $- 1$ and $\frac{- 3}{2}$ is

$\frac{- 1 + (\frac{- 3}{2})}{2} = \frac{- 2 - 3}{4} = \frac{- 5}{4}$

$∴$ the three rational numbers between $- 2$ and $- 1$ are
