Solution

Small intestine:

  • The small intestine is a part of the human digestive tract and is the region where most of the nutrients are absorbed.
  • The small intestine has three parts duodenum, jejunum, and ileum.

Intestinal juice:

  • Intestinal juice or succus entericus is the alkaline yellowish watery fluid released by the glands lining the inner wall of the small intestine.
  • The alkaline nature of the fluid helps it to counter the acidic chyme coming from the stomach.

Hence, succus entericus is the intestinal juice secreted by ileum.
