Solution

The correct option is D 10x + 568
Given:

Investment from family and friends
= ₹74x + 167

Promised investment from public
= ₹(9x + 430)

Investment not recieved from public
= ₹(34x + 29)

Expression for final investment
= (74x + 167) + ( 9x + 430) - (34x + 29)

Using commutative property to arrange the like terms together:
= 74x + 9x - 34x + 167 + 430 - 29

Using associative property to group the like terms:
= (74x + 9x - 34x) + (167 + 430 - 29)

= (x + 9x) + 568

= 10x + 568

Hence, the final amount that was invested is ₹(10x + 568).
