ΔE=EE1
ΔE=0(13.6×z²/n²)eV

In this case we have hydrogen atom therefore Z =1 and N =1
ΔE=13.6eV
now 1eV=1.6×1019 joules
therefore ΔE=13.6×1.6×1019
ΔE=218×1020 joules
now 1joule=107 ergs

ΔE=218×1020×107 ergs
ΔE=21.8×1012 ergs
