Irfan gets interest on $₹ 10, 000$ from the bank $= ₹ 600$
so, interest $₹ 1$ from the bank $= \frac{600}{10, 000}$
The interest on $₹ 8, 000$ he will gets form the bank $= \frac{600}{10, 000} \times 8, 000$
$= ₹ 60 \times 8 = ₹ 240$
Hence, the interest gets at the end of the period is $₹ 240$
