Open in App
Solution

Dear student, for a number to be terminating it’s denominator can factorised and written in the form 2^n x5^m
Here, 123/385
We take prime factorisation of 385 and check that is it in the form 2^m and 5^n.

We get = 2 ×11×7

So it is true that this is non terminating decimal.
