Open in App
Solution

  1. No, colloids are not homogeneous.
  2. The homogenous mixture is made up of particles have great affinity to dissolving into solvent.
  3. On the other hand, in collides they don't have great affinity of dissolving into solvent.
  4. The particle size of colloids lies between size of true solution and suspension.
  5. That is between 1nm and 0.1 micrometre which is not suitable for homogeneity.
  6. So, colloids are appeared as homogeneous but actually are heterogeneous.
  7. Example: Milk, dust, gel, etc.
