Solution

The correct option is C

Malaria

Malaria is a disease caused by a Plasmodium. Plasmodium completes its life cycle in two hosts- human and female Anopheles mosquito. When a female Anopheles mosquito bites a person suffering from malaria, the parasite enters the mosquito. When this infected mosquito bites a healthy person, the parasite gets transmitted to that person via the saliva of the mosquito.
