Question

Is a force required to keep a body moving??

Open in App
Solution

Yes.
in acrual situation,a force is always required
because if give give an initial force to a body,it starts moving
but the speed of it gradually decreases and comes to rest
it is because of the friction on the surface with which the body is moving and also due to air friction
ao again a force must be given to keeo the body in motion
but in an ideal condition where there is no friction and air
then if we give an initil force to the body,it will move in a uniform velocity untill another force is acting on it
hope you understand this
