Electromagnetic waves include photons, which are tiny energy packets. Each packet is located at a specific energy level that is based on the wave frequency.

Just like a molecule, the electron has a location where its energy is stored. As a result, at a certain instant in its wavelike motion through space, the electron interacts like a particle. The phrase "wave-particle duality" describes it.

  1. Although subatomic particles do not move at the speed of light, photons do.
  2. In several tests, photons exhibit natural particle behaviour despite lacking mass. In a similar way, subatomic particles occasionally exhibit wave-like characteristics while having mass.
  3. Although photons, which are little energy packets, are known to make up light, which largely exhibits wave behaviour.
  4. The two photons move apart at the speed of light. With one unit of spin and no electric charge, photons are bosons, which are thought of as subatomic particles. They are field particles that are thought to be carriers of electromagnetic fields.

Hence, photon act like a wave.
