Is absolute motion possible?

Absolute motion:

1. An absolute motion may be defined as the change of position of a body from one absolute place to another absolute place.
2. Motion and rest are always relative to each other.
3. A body cannot attain a state of absolute rest or absolute motion.
4. Consider two persons sitting in a moving bus are at rest w.r.t each other but are in motion w.r.t. a person standing on the roadside.
5. Further, trees, buildings, and other stationary-looking objects, etc on the surface of the Earth appear to be at rest.
6. But in fact, they are in motion because the Earth revolves around the Sun continuously w.r.t. the sun.
7. Thus, there is not a single object which we can say to be at absolute rest. Hence, rest and motion are relative.

Hence absolute motion is not possible.
