Is aluminium a good conductor of electricity?

Conductivity depends on the electrons movement in atom. Metals contain free moving delocalized electrons so their conductivity is high. Aluminium is a good conductor but not best. Silver is the best conductor. Silver has approx 6 % more conductivity than copper. Aluminium has less conductivity than both But due to low density, low cost and high resistance to corrosion Aluminium is preferred.
