Mesoderm is the middle layer of the three germ layers present in the embryonic life from which the organs of the body are made.
Bone marrow is one of the parts of the body which originates from the mesoderm.
They are found in the bones and are rich in blood supplies.
Bone marrow is of two types.
Red bone marrow contains the stem cells that are responsible for the production of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
Yellow bone marrow is mostly comprised of fats.
