Solution

Bright's disease:

  1. Bright's disease also known as glomerulonephritis is the condition in which there is an inflammation of glomeruli and nephrons.
  2. There are two types of Bright's disease: acute and chronic Bright's disease.
    1. Acute glomerulonephritis is a response to any other infection like strep throat. It is due to the overreaction of the immune system to the other disease. It can be cured without any further treatment.
    2. Chronic glomerulonephritis can be hereditary and develop in several years without any symptoms. It can cause irreversible damage to the kidney leading to failure of the kidney.
