  4. Cloaca is a common orifice for the opening of digestive, urinary, reproductive, and genital tracts.
  5. It is present in reptiles, birds, amphibians, and a few mammals.
  6. Both urine and feces are excreted through the cloaca in contrast to higher mammals which have two or three orifices.
