Displacement
As we all know, a scalar quantity is one that has magnitude but no direction, whereas a vector quantity has both magnitude and direction.
Displacement is the direct distance between any two points calculated via the shortest path between them.
When it comes to displacement, both magnitude and direction are present, therefore we may say that displacement is a vector quantity rather than a scalar quantity.
