Question

Is distilled water acidic, basic or neutral?

Open in App
Solution

Distilled water is neutral as it contains pure water and no extra acidic or basic ion. Acidic nature can occur only if there is added acid or acidic salt, which will make the water impure and it cannot be distilled water.
