Solution

Photosynthesis :

Carbon dioxide, water, chlorophyll, and sunlight are the vital ingredients required for photosynthesis. Since chlorophyll is abundant in the green leaves, they are considered the major organ for photosynthesis. But leaves are not the only part of the plant in which photosynthesis can occur. Any part of the plant that has chlorophyll pigment can undergo photosynthesis.

Location of photosynthesis:

Apart from green leaves, photosynthesis also takes place in the green stem of some plants.
