Is it easier to push a object or to pull a object.Why?

Dear Student, Pulling an object is easier than pushing the object because when we push there is one component of force that adds to the weight of the body and hence there is more friction. When you pull the vertical component of force is against the weight of body and hence there is less overall friction or we can say that while pushing a component of the external force increases the normal reaction of the body thereby increasing its frictional force .So it is easy to pull than push an object.
