Yes, it is possible that a species may occupy more than one trophic level in the same ecosystem at the same time. For example, a man is an omnivore. He can consume plants and be called a primary consumer or consume animals like goat and chicken which consume plants and be called a secondary consumer, thus occupying more than one trophic level in the same ecosystem at the same time.
