Is it possible to have a triangle with the following sides
(i) 2 cm,3 cm,5 cm
(ii) 3 cm,6 cm,7 cm
(iii) 6 cm,3 cm,2 cm

Solve:-

We know that, the sum of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the third side.

Part (1).

2cm,3cm,5cm

Then 2+3=5

So, it is not possible to have a triangle. Because sum of two sides is equal to the third side.

Hence, this is the answer.

Part(2).

3cm,6cm,7cm

Then 3+6=9>7

So, it is possible to have a triangle. Because of sum of two sides are greater than to the third side.

Hence, this is the answer.

Part(3).

6cm,3cm,2cm

Then 2+3=5<6

So, it is not possible to have a triangle. Because of sum of two sides are less than to the third side.

Hence, this is the answer
