Is it possible to heat a metal to such an extent that it becomes a gas ?

Solution

All metals 'can' become a gas . If you heat them in a vacuum, all elemental metals can become a gas, but in gaseous form metals are super reactive - meaning they'll basically combine with anything. This is a product of super-high temperature chemistry.
