Yes, it is possible to treat this defect. In cataract, the normal eye lens becomes cloudy generally in old aged people. Due to cataract the vision becomes blurry. To cure this defect the cloudy lens is replaced by a clear, artificial lens. Modern technology has made this procedure simpler and safer.
