Question

Is it right that in all uniform motions like uniform speed and uniform velocity, the object will travel only in a straight path?

Open in App
Solution

A body is said to be in uniform motion if it travels equal distance in equal intravel of time.no matter how small the time intervals may be.For example ,if a vehicle running at a constant speed of 15m/s covers equal distances of 15m,every second ,then it's motion is said to be uniform motion.
The shape of the path covered by a moving object having uniform speed and uniform velocity will be straight line.this is because a body has uniform velocity only if it only travel in straight line and move over equal distance in equal intravel time
