Solution
Parasite:
The organisms living inside or on the surface of the host are known as parasites.
Parasites are dependent on food obtained from the host organism.
Parasites are mainly of two types - Endoparasite and Ectoparasite.
Endoparasites live inside the organism or host.
Ectoparasite lives on the external (outside) surface of the host.
Leach:
Leach is a blood-sucking parasite.
The parasite lives on or in the skin but not within the body.
They reside on the host body and suck their blood.
So leach is an ectoparasite as it lives outside the host body, not inside.
