$L . H . S = \frac{3 m - 7}{8 m + 1}$
$= \frac{3 \times - 10 - 7}{8 \times - 10 + 1}$
$= \frac{- 30 - 7}{- 80 + 1}$
$= \frac{- 37}{- 79}$
$= \frac{37}{79}$
$R . H . S = 4 - m$
$= 4 - (- 10)$
$= 4 + 10$
$= 10$
$L . H . S \neq R . H . S$
So, $m = - 10$ is not the solution of given equation
