Is 'management a full-fledged profession'? Give any three reasons in support of your answer.
Management is not considered as a full-fledged profession
as the following features of profession is not present in management:
1.
Restrict entry: Management in future will have restricted entry through an
examination or degree as in profession.
2.
Presence of professional associations: All profession has some associations
affiliated to it and even management has association affiliated to it by in
future it will gain more power as the associations have in other profession.
3.
Existing of ethical code: For every profession there are some set of ethical
codes fixed by the profession association. Management also has some ethical
codes fixed by the concerned professional association which is not legally
followed right now but will be backed by statutory warning in future.
