Defining π.

We know that Irrational numbers are real numbers that are non terminating and non repeating and cannot be represented as a simple fraction. It cannot be expressed in the form of a ratio, such as pq, where p and q are integers, q0.

In decimal form, π is expressed as 3.14159265358979 which is non terminating and non repeating.

Hence π is an irrational number.
