Solution
Replum:
It is a thin wall or valve in some fruits.
It is a frame like a placenta through which the septum stretches.
During dehiscence, the valves fall away hence it is also called the false septum.
Example of plants in which replum is present includes siliques and certain legumes,
Cruciferae
,
Papaveraceae, and Mimosa.
