Question

Is sedentary existence and active locomotion?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

I hope you have asked for the explanation of the terms. They are as follows:

Sedentary means not moving . Sedentary existence is shown by living organisms such as plants which do not move. They are static . Whereas active locomotion is the ability to move from one place to another. An example for this is ourselves, the humans.

Thank you.
