Sodium sulfide: The formula of sodium sulfide is Na2S, sodium sulfide is dangerous for the following reason-

  1. Skin can be burned by it.
  2. Since it is a powerful base, sodium sulfide can seriously burn mucosal membranes.
  3. Intense caustic burns with severe inflammation and potential tissue loss can result from contact with the skin.
  4. The respiratory system and digestive system are also harmed by it.
  5. One of the causes of cardiac unbalance is sodium sulfide.

Hence, sodium sulfide is dangerous.
