Question

Is the any way to find out whether a reaction is reversible or irreversible reaction?

Open in App
Solution

Yes, you have to be told about the reaction to formulate/calculate things about a reaction, and one has to mention if it is reversible or not. Usually, one cannot comment on the reversibility of a reaction by just looking at the reactants and products. One has to perform experiment to find out if it is reversible or not.

One can do a simple experiment based on Le Chatelier’s principle and find out if a reaction is reversible or not.
