Question

Is the sum of any two angles of a triangle always greater than the third angle?

Open in App
Solution

No, the sum of any two angles of a triangle is not always greater than the third angle.

For example:

In an isosceles right-angled triangle, the angle will be 90°,45°,45°. Here, the sum of two angles 45°+45°=90° which is not greater than the third angle.

Hence, the sum of any two angles of a triangle is not always greater than the third angle.
