Question

Is there any difference between photosynthetic and photoautotrophic?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student

These two are same terms.

Photoautotroph is an organism (green plants) that can synthesize its own food from inorganic material using light as a source of energy.
Photosynthesis is the process by which plants and other photoautotrophs generate carbohydrates and oxygen by using carbon dioxide, water and light.
